At Bakersfield Hillcrest SDA Church, our mission is simple: to help people find and follow Jesus. No matter who you are or where you come from, you are welcome here. We believe in creating a community built on grace, compassion, and the love of Christ, where everyone has a place to belong. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or have been walking with Jesus for years, we invite you to join us in growing together.
We offer programs and gatherings for every stage of life—from infants to seniors—designed to help you know Christ more deeply and build meaningful relationships. At Bakersfield Hillcrest SDA Church, you’ll find opportunities to worship, learn, and serve alongside others who are on the journey of faith with you. More than just a church, we strive to be a family where you are seen, valued, and loved.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturdays for Bible study at 9:30 AM and our worship service at 10:45 AM. Welcome home!

About Seventh-day Adventists®
We’re more than just a building, and bigger than our local congregation.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a worldwide family with nearly 22 million members spread across 212 countries and over 150,000 churches and other worship groups. Our rich, 160+-year history includes the establishment of almost 230 hospitals and sanitariums, and over 9,400 schools around the world, serving students from preschool through university. Acting on Christ’s commission that we share His love and compassion with the world, Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), our global humanitarian arm, works in 120 countries, providing community development and disaster relief to over 25 million people to date.
There’s a place for you in this global family, too. Come be part of something bigger than yourself—a place comfortable enough to feel like home.
